Peak Season Update: Summer's peak & planning ahead
Why did the August garden break up with September?
Because it wasn't ready to transition to cooler crops just yet!
Hey friends,
August is peak season. Our fields are absolutely bursting with color and flavor. This is the kind of abundance that makes all those early spring mornings of soil preparation totally worth it. We've weathered some intense heat waves (hitting 94°F last last week!), but our team has been staying ahead of the curve with strategic watering schedules and shade management. This week's box features the crescendo of summer: sun soaked tomatoes in every hue, butter soft corn, glossy eggplants, fragrant basil at its aromatic best, and fresh picked string beans that taste like summer itself.
